Hello, it's Lily's mum here. Lily has been great since moving to Australia. We are (very slowly) weaning her off daytime oxygen- she is now off for several hours each day.
In other family news, her little sister is now on oxygen at nights. Yes, we are not happy being merely rare, we seem to be going for SUPER rare!
Because of this, the doctors are looking into alternative diagnoses, like "Neuroendocrine Cell Hyperplasia of Infancy" (NEHI). They have ruled out ABC A3 surfactant deficiency. It could also be a milder form of Obliterative Bronchiolitis...
Anyone else have more than one child with OB symptoms?
